Nell Dipiero: If you are under the age of 18 and live with yo! ur parents, you need to be listed as an additional driver on their insurance. If you have your own car and don't live at home, you will need to be a named driver and have insurance on your own car.

Alberto Kozub: Hi,I am a little confused on the question so I will try my hardest. Insurance follows the car. If you want to drive your own car in Florida, you need to have an insurance policy that has that car and you listed as a driver on it. Then you are covered. If your parents have their own insurance and their own cars (separate from yours) insured and you do not live with them, you can drive their cars as long as you are not excluded on their policy as a driver. If you live with your parents, you are either listed as a driver or excluded. Do not ever drive their vehicles if you are excluded as there would be no coverage in case of an accident.
