what makes a serious relationship?

Nancy Mansell: The seriousness of a relationship depends on the level of commitment from both parties. You can have all the sex you want or have kids or whatever, however, if even one of you doesn't commit him/herself to each other, then the relationship is not real.Many people have "sex buddies" or casual sexual relationship, but they still consider themselves "single". Many "couples" have children, but they are separated... and even date or are married to others. However, even if the couple don't have sex (for various reason, i.e. no sex till marriage, unable to have sex, etc.) or don't have children, but both are committed to each other, then they have a serious relationship....Show more
