When a recipe calls for pasta...?

Providencia Serpe: dryhttp://www.monicasappetizers.com

Blaine Connett: It's really bad

Adan Stribble: 16 ounces (1 pound) dry uncooked pasta.

Gus Leiby: Anne Burrell Carbonara

Piedad Bassiti: It usually means take a pound of dried pasta and cook it.

Providencia Serpe: It means a 16 oz box of pasta is just the right size for your recipe. It if was referring to cooked pasta, the recipe would say so.

Malcom Bourek: It would be uncooked weight, as in size of box.

Forest Duttinger: I want to ask the same question as the person above.

Tory Clapper: Usually it means uncooked.
