If i rent a game then buy the game will the game save of my rented game transfer onto the game i bought?

Nedra Oltz: You do not save data from games onto the actual game disc itself , but you actually save data on the hard drive or memory card or memory device for the platform from which the game is being played on. For example, you rent your gta4, then play it, and save the game before a misson starts, then you give back the rented gta4 copy and say you go to gamestop to buy a brand new one, you put in the disk, and it should automatically load your last saved data no matter what because the data you saved was either saved on the hard drive, memory card, or memory device for the platform that the game was being played on. D! avina David: Most probably your profile will be saved in MY DO! CUMENTS. Just copy it. After you bought the game install it again your profile will be created in MY DOCUMENTS.Then replace the old file with the new file.Then you won't loose any data.
