Your Opinion of Beauty?

Elvie Drumgoole: To me, Beauty is in the character!!I don't look at the outward appearance!!I look at the inner man!!The hidden man of the heart!!

Cletus Crotts: Elegance. Plain elegance

Buddy Ardd: The female human body has a lot going for it but consider the lowly warthog; only another warthog could fall-down in worship of its beauty. And as if that isn't bad enough-I know sensible people who get all flustered over snakes. Go figure.

Leora Klingelhoets: Unexpected boldly swift and elegant lines, shapes, colors, and ideas... things that stimulate most or all of me. Just like truly knowing what one really wants, it is almost impossible to define what one truly finds beautiful without an example to point at...My examples would be: 1. The soft sincere and joyously bright smile in my daughter's face when she runs to me. 2. A nice August Florida sunset full of radiant colors, light beams cutting the skies, and sweeping clouds in slow but constant change. 3.! the soft lines of a woman's curved lower back as it joins her round buttocks with grace and intense 3dimensionality... well beyond sexual, but transcendental beauty!!!...Show more

Hyman Coren: i see beauty as truth, for example if a personis truthful to himself,i think it's the most beautiful anyone can get.

Benny Stehno: beauty is in the way a person carries themselves.Conifident. walks tall.He/she enters a room with a smile.He/she makes people feel comfortable. The words that come out of thier mouth. ( cursing is so so unattractive).Dresses well, but not over the top or to be the center of attention.Remember Beauty is like a visait does expire....Show more

Melissa Lavallie: Romantic....

Nedra Oltz: Honesty, loyalty, and a good personality. Someone might be physically beautiful, but they might be a horrible person. Most people would prefer to know someone with a beautiful personality than a beautiful person with a horrible personality.

Robt H! eemstra: This poem by Robert Louis Stevenson about sums it up ! I'd say.I will make you brooches and toys for your delight Of bird-song at morning and star-shine at night. I will make a palace fit for you and me Of green days in forests and blue days at sea. I will make my kitchen, and you shall keep your room, Where white flows the river and bright blows the broom, And you shall wash your linen and keep your body white In rainfall at morning and dewfall at night. And this shall be for music when no one else is near, The fine song for singing, the rare song to hear! That only I remember, that only you admire, Of the broad road that stretches and the roadside fire. Robert Louis Stevenson...Show more

Dick Maisenbacher: I know it sounds like a cliche'. But, to me real beauty is on the inside. I have known many people that after a time I have found very ugly, much uglier than they are physically. If I get to know someone and then come to disrespect their being, the way they think and lead their lives, then I have great distaste for th! em and they appear ugly in my eyes. My perception seems to go deeper than the surface. This goes both ways. My eye defines beauty as wisdom, fortitude, integrity, generosity....the list goes on and on. It is difficult to describe my opinion of beauty for animals, nature, inanimate object. Beauty is something that attracts me. It could be something mysterious, even ominous looking like a very, very old twisted tree. Something I can look at and be near for a very long time is beautiful....Show more

Tommy Durrenberger: I suppose the basis for beauty is all in proportion and symmetry. I certainly would not say that a physically stunning individual is not beautiful, but to me, that type of beauty fades over the years. It has also been my experience, that physically stunning people are generally of no substance. A truly beautiful soul just gets more and more so as time goes by, and you just want to be with them.

Forest Duttinger: if you close your eyes and still see ! beauty on the person/object then they are most than just an eye candy.
