Olin Hallin: THe Money Financial Aid Gives You Is To Pay For Your Books And Supplies You Do Not Need To buy them at the schools bookstore you can use that money to buy your books where ever you can find them it doesn't have to be your schools book store
Elissa Curlin: The money that FAFSA gives you is to pay for your books and classes; it is for education purposes. With your own money you can pay for your own school book and then FAFSA will later distribute the extra funds that you do not use back to you, though you do have to wait a month or so before that happens. when the money is distributed back to you you can spend the money on whatever you want. Skateboards, Ipods, music....
Hai Biggart: I was wonder that to but I just found out that a lot schools give out something called a rebate check. Lets say for this semester you owe $8000 and you have $10000 worth of loans and other aid for school. You subtract the two numbers you get $2000 and the school will g! ive you a check for that amount and you put it towards books and other expenses for school like a laptop.Hope this helpsLook at your school's website and/or call your school's financial aid office and ask....Show more
